Julie Shelton graduated magna cum laude from Columbia College in South Carolina with a double major in Piano Pedagogy and Church Music. She was the recipient of a full tuition graduate scholarship at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Organ Performance. Julie’s 30+ years of professional experience include the following:
- 25 years of private teaching in her home studio in West Chester, Ohio.
- 20+ years as a church organist in various denominations throughout Cincinnati.
- Organist/accompanist at St. Paul Community United Methodist Church, in Madeira, Ohio, for three years.
- Featured soloist in St. Paul Presents concert series performances.
- Accompanist/coach for instrumentalists of all kinds, from high school students to professional performers. Julie has accompanied students for numerous concerto competition victories, college recitals, and professional concerts.
- Member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Ohio Music Teachers Association.
